Our Outcomes

The assessment data that we are publishing on this page relates to the academic year of 2024/2025.

The data reported below, contains 2 figures for each of the statutory testing years. Within our school, there are a number of children who are working out of age-related expectations and are supported within our ARP. Whilst they continue to make steps of progress within their own levels, this is not accurately depicted in the statutory data. Therefore, it can be useful to see both sets of outcomes.

Department for Education Performance Data

End of Reception Year

The ‘statutory framework for the early years foundation stage’ became effective in September 2021. As part of this documentation, children are now assessed at the end of their time in Reception against the early learning goals. Children either meet the expected standard or are not yet reaching the expected standard (emerging). There is no longer an ‘exceeding’ statement.

67% of all Year One children reached the threshold pass mark for the year 1 phonics check. This includes our 11 wonderful children who are part of our ARP. With jus 'Birds' the score increases to 78%. Whilst this is just under national average, the cohort travelled a substantial distance from entry points of Year 1 to the actual test. This is a strong outcome and validation of the school’s approach to the teaching of phonics.

Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check

In a cohort of 38 children, 32 of those took the test. The average score out of 25 for this group was 23.1. 14 of the cohort achieved full marks in the screening measure.

Year 6 SATs

The outcomes in year 6 are a testament to our teaching approaches, rigorous assessment and intervention. It is important to celebrate that all of our results are above the National averages for 2025.
